The road, surrounded by a dense forest, is winding down a steep hill. The scent of fresh air is in our lungs as we come around the last turn and the beautiful view of Palfrey Lake unfolds in front of us. We've finally arrived!
Palfrey Lake Lodge is located on the shore of Palfrey Lake, which belongs to the Chiputneticook Lake system. The lake, situated in southwestern New Brunswick (eastern Canada) is only a one hour drive from Frederiction, NB and a two hour drive from Bangor, Maine.
First you will notice the main building, which houses the licensed bar, dining area, Television, Billiard table, and most importantly, the Day family, proprietors of Palfrey Lake Lodge.
Witness one of the most incredible sunsets from the dining area or porch, while enjoying a nice dinner and drink.
The main lodge offers room for up to 80 people, who can enjoy a buffet, or up to 60 for a sit down dinner. It's a place where you meet interesting people from the world over; where you make friends, exchange stories, laugh, and simply enjoy yourself. It's also a gateway to hunting, fishing, and numerous other recreational activities, like canoeing, swimming, boating, hiking, bird watching and horseshoe throwing.
The lodge is open year round and offers cozy accommodations. Everything here is for YOU... from housekeeping cabins to room and board, boat & canoe rentals, hunting & fishing guides, and much much more.
